7 Rules To Live By When Bartering
1. TRADE FAIR - Treat a customer the way you would want to be treated. Fair trade is contagious. Treat a member with respect and fairness; the feeling will spread quickly throughout the network.
2. COLLECT TAX AND TIP (AT LEAST 20%) IN CASH - Always collect cash to account for state and federal taxes. Remember to tip at least 20% for a job well done. Most workers are regular employees who receive no benefits of barter. They rely on cash tips to supplement their income.
3. RETURN TELEPHONE CALLS - Treat customers with respect and give them the courtesy you would expect. Please return every call, even if you are unable to do the job.
4. RESOLVE DISPUTES BEFORE CONTACTING US - Please treat each trade cusomter in a professional manner as you would with a cash customer. If you feel you are not being treated as such, call us at the office and we will do what we can to help.
5. KEEP YOUR FEES CURRENT - If your account's not up-to-date you CANNOT trade. Avoid embarrassments by keeping your fees current. Reduce your fees by keeping your credit card on file with us and never worry about a declined authorization.
6. HAVE PATIENCE - Remember the saying that "good things come to those who wait". Barter requires patience.
7. REFER A FRIEND OR ASSOCIATE - Increase trading opportunities for yourself and other members and receive $100 trade credit for every referral that joins the network! If you have a business that is interested in becoming a member please let us know as soon as possible.
